Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Operations Lead to support store processes and drive a strong selling culture. You will handle opening/closing, training, task delegation, and ensure compliance with company standards while enabling a safe and engaging guest experience in a warehouse-style store.

The role requires physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs (team lift 100 lbs), flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and strong coaching to improve productivity and operations.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Able to lead tasks, train teammates, and monitor performance.
• Maintain accuracy in opening/closing procedures and housekeeping.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and safety compliance at all times.
• Flexible to nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Capable of lifting 50 lb and team-lifting 100 lb when moving stock.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening, closing, and Front-End processes with accuracy.
• Coordinate staffing with ASMs to support traffic, sales, and guest experience.
• Plan daily/weekly zone workload and assign tasks to meet goals.
• Support inventory control, safety, shrink, and loss prevention.
• Train, coach, and monitor team performance to drive productivity.
• Lead daily huddles and communicate best practices for the customer experience.
• Handle freight processes, stocking, end caps, and merchandising.
• Open availability for nights and weekends.
