Job summary

At Home Stores LLC is seeking an Operations Lead to support store processes and a selling culture by maintaining documented standards that drive sales. The OL handles opening, closing, training, and task delegation while upholding safety, ethics, and compliance.

You will coordinate with the Operations Manager to optimize staffing, plan daily workloads, and ensure guest engagement, inventory control, shrink reduction, and loss prevention, so the store operates efficiently and profitably.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times. The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Performs store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution and operational readiness.
• Coordinates with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and customer experience.
• Plans/executed daily/weekly zone workload and assigns tasks to deliver on store, department, and sales goals.
• Supports inventory control, safety, loss prevention, and customer experience to keep the store profitable.
• Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
• Leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics supporting the customer experience.
• Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and transitions.
• Processes freight, sorts and stocks products, and maintains neat, clean shelves and end caps.
• All other duties assigned based on business needs.
• Open Availability (nights and weekends)
