Job summary

Five Below is hiring a Store Manager on the Richmond, VA team. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew on the Five Below customer service standard, manage opening/closing, cash handling, and service quality.

This hourly role demands strong communication and leadership to boost sales and maintain a wow experience for guests. Minimum 1 year of management experience and a high school diploma are required; college experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring duties are performed well.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing new stock for quick placement on floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, responsible for store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening/closing, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, staff, and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks as needed.
