Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise associates, train staff, and manage opening/closing procedures while ensuring cash security and inventory flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of management experience, and strong communication skills. Flexible scheduling including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures effective performance.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on selling floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff.
• Manages opening/closing of the store, securing cash and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising and responsibilities.
• Performs store maintenance and general upkeep.
