Job summary

Five Below seeks energetic store leaders to deliver the Five Below experience. As a Manager on Duty, you train crew on the BEST customer service, oversee daily store operations, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout.

You open/close the store, manage cash, assist with receiving and stocking, drive sales through merchandising, and supervise associates. A high school diploma is required; college experience is a plus; 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience and leadership ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and training crew on BEST customer service.
• Oversee daily store activities, ensuring staff perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for fast shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, customer issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure smooth daily ops.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training to improve performance.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Perform store maintenance and collaborate with leadership on procedures.
