Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a proven leader to help run a retail location, donation site, and in-store production facility. In the absence of the store manager, you will direct tasks of associates to meet store goals and uphold standards of service and appearance.

This role requires supervision, communication, and the ability to analyze reports to identify trends. Evening and weekend availability may be required. Goodwill is an Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• No professional certifications required; a criminal background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Run store operations in the absence of the store and assistant manager, including front end and production areas.
• Monitor associates progress toward goals, including production and Round Up efforts.
• Participate in production to meet store goals based on business demands.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandise presentation at all times.
• Model exceptional customer service for associates and customers alike.
• Support store management with onboarding, monthly meetings, and performance check-ins.
