Job summary

Cribl in the United States (Eastern Region preferred) is hiring a Sales Engineer Specialist to drive adoption of our Storage & Analysis products. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, collaborate with Sales, and help shape the future of Cribl's offerings.

The role blends technical demos, PV events, and customer engagements across time zones. Expect travel up to 30%, a base salary range of 130000–190000 USD, and a generous benefits package in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs of experience with logs, metrics, observability, IT operations, or security in a customer-facing role.
• Experience selling into new and existing customers (land and expand).
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 3–5 years in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Help customers understand the value of Cribl's Storage & Analysis products during the entire sales process.
• Partner with a Product Sales Specialist to develop and execute sales strategies and drive pipeline growth.
• Collaborate with the Field team to develop demos, content, and selling artifacts reflecting customer usage patterns.
• Demo the product and answer questions during initial sales calls.
• Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations, including PV events.
• Guide customers through proof-of-concept activities for successful outcomes.
• Document use cases in blogs and product docs.
