Cribl is hiring a Sales Engineer Specialist for its Storage & Analysis portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in customer-facing environments and has a track record of exceeding sales goals.

You will be a trusted technical advisor, partnering with Sales to accelerate opportunities and feed back into product strategy. The role supports a remote-first company structure with Eastern Region preference and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs of experience in logs, observability, IT operations, or security in a customer-facing role (Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Forward Deployed Engineering, or similar).
• Experience selling to both new and existing customers (land & expand).
• Ability to teach opportunities through consultative selling methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 3–5 years in a customer facing role or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML technologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Must reside in the Eastern Region (Eastern/Central Time Zones preferred).

Responsibilities

• Help customers understand the value of Cribl's Storage & Analysis products throughout the sales process.
• Partner with a Product Sales Specialist to develop and execute sales strategies and drive pipeline growth.
• Collaborate with the Field team to develop demos, content, presentations, and sales artifacts.
• Demo the product and answer customer questions during initial sales calls.
• Deliver sales presentations, convey technical information, conduct product demos and Proof of Value events.
• Guide customers through proof-of-concept activities and ensure successful outcomes.
• Document interesting use cases in blog posts and product documentation.
