Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security, to drive the forward deployed security product engineering for Dasher products. You will lead hardening, vulnerability discovery, and automated remediation across a global delivery network, collaborating with product, legal, and data teams.

This US remote role reports to the Manager of Proactive Security Engineering. You will mentor engineers, shape roadmaps, and build secure by design AI security controls within the DoorDash

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer at an Internet scale organization.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in AI Security, Account Security, and Product Security Engineering across B2C/B2B/B2V security controls.
• Demonstrated builder in object oriented languages (Go, Java) designing security controls and processes to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience securing large scale consumer application ecosystems that handle millions of transactions per day.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and roadmap for hardening of Dasher Security Products at DoorDash.
• Partner cross-functionally to build proactive security controls enabling secure by design AI products.
• Execute rigorous vulnerability discovery and automated remediation to protect the company.
• Mentor and coach earlier career engineers, promoting Operational Excellence and Software Engineering.
