Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager, Proactive Security to set the technical direction for platform hardening across AWS and GCP. This US remote role reports to the Director of Security Engineering and focuses on building durable controls and reducing misconfigurations at scale.

You will coach senior engineers, partner with infrastructure teams, and drive on-call rigor while advancing access control and secrets management across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security/infrastructure at internet-scale
• 3+ years of technical leadership leading global teams
• Hands-on expertise hardening AWS/GCP at scale

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the technical vision for platform hardening
• Own the hardening roadmap for tier-0 cloud infrastructure and access services
• Coach and mentor tech leads and engineers as a player-coach
• Partner with Core Infrastructure, Compute, Data and other teams
• Build and maintain OE practices for tier-0 security platforms
• Drive continuous hardening and secure adoption of AI tooling
