Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security, to lead the technical direction of secure AI security products embedded in DoorDash consumer, merchant, and Dasher surfaces. You will operate in forward deployed pods, shaping roadmaps and building hardened product agents and AI guardrails.

You will partner with Product Engineering, Legal, Data, Security Platform, and other teams; mentor engineers; drive security by design; and tackle AI vulnerability discovery and automated

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer at an Internet scale organization.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or related field.
• Embed with product teams to design, build, and deploy security controls.
• Develop reusable "paved road" security solutions for AI products.
• Demonstrated leadership in scalable AI security and threat modeling.
• Hands-on security for LLM or agentic systems.
• Experience with OO languages such as Go or Java.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the technical direction and roadmap for secure AI security products.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable secure-by-design AI products.
• Execute cross-brand AI vulnerability discovery and automated remediation.
