Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security to drive hardening of Dasher Security Products within a forward deployed Pod model. You will ship security controls directly into Dasher products to ensure a safe, secure, and resilient delivery network.

The role emphasizes building in security by design, cross-functional collaboration, and leading security initiatives at scale across global consumer, merchant, and Dasher ecosystems.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in security product engineering at an Internet-scale organization.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership across AI security, account security, and product security domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and roadmap for hardening of Dasher Security Products at DoorDash.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Legal, Security Engineering Platform, Data teams and XFN partners to enable secure-by-design AI products.
• Mentor and coach earlier career engineers, enforcing standards for Operational Excellence and Software Engineering.
