Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager, Proactive Security to set and lead the technical direction for platform hardening across our global compute and storage platforms. This is a US remote position reporting to the Director, Security Engineering, and will coach senior engineers while owning tier-0 security controls.

You'll influence cloud security posture in AWS/GCP, drive on-call excellence, and partner with Core Infrastructure, Compute, and Data teams to deliver durable, hardened

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security or infrastructure platform engineering at internet-scale orgs.
• Deep hands-on expertise hardening AWS and/or GCP at scale, including guardrails and posture.
• Proven technical leadership designing scalable security platform controls and on-call rigor.
• Track record of no-downtime platform services and strong incident response.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the technical vision for the Security Engineering Platform team across cloud environments.
• Coach and mentor engineers while delivering durable, hardened controls for tier-0 services.
• Partner with Core Infrastructure, Compute and Data teams to harden shared cloud substrate.
• Drive OE practices, on-call rotations, escalation paths and minimal downtime.
