Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager, Proactive Security to set and lead the technical direction for Security Product Engineering globally. You will lead a team that builds proactive security controls directly into our Customer, Merchant and Dasher products to ensure a secure and resilient delivery network.

Reporting to the Director of Security Engineering, you will coach engineers, drive roadmaps for Bug Bounty and Vulnerability Management, and collaborate with Product, Legal and Data

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer at an Internet-scale organization
• 3+ years of demonstrated technical leadership
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Security Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Account Security, Product Security Engineering, AI Security across B2C, B2B and B2Vendor security controls
• Experience designing cybersecurity engineering controls and processes to meet regulatory requirements
• Experience designing scalable, AI-enabled and ergonomic Security Review processes
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical abilities with hands-on root cause analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders globally

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the technical vision for Security Product Engineering Pods, Bug Bounty and Vulnerability Management teams
• Lead the overall Security Product Engineering, Bug Bounty and Vulnerability Management direction and roadmap execution
• Coach and mentor engineers as a player-coach to address security problems at the lowest level
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Legal, Security Engineering Platform, Data teams and other partners to embed proactive security controls
• Build and maintain high-Operational Excellence security services and data lakes for vulnerability management
