Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort is seeking an enthusiastic Spa Attendant to greet members and guests, check in at the Spa, handle cash transactions for services and retail, and promote the Spa. You will assist with reservations, stocking, cleaning, and ensuring safety and proper use of facilities.

The role requires excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to multitask across phones, front desk, and locker areas. Shift flexibility and a professional appearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience with a register.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in members and guests at Spa.
• Monitor facility use and ensure proper payments for services.
• Sell retail, deli and Spa treatments (upsell).
• Handle reservations for courts, lessons, and activities.
• Answer phones and take messages.
• Distribute locker keys and towels.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of Spa facilities.
• Report safety issues to the appropriate department.
• Promote the Spa to potential clients and refer inquiries.
• Attend staff meetings and follow grooming standards.
• Maintain daily cash handling and deposits.
