Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is seeking a Resort Concierge to assist guests with needs on property and deliver exceptional service, creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries about trips and events, arranging reservations, directing guests to area attractions, and coordinating dining and activity bookings while maintaining high standards of grooming and communication.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of Traverse City area preferred.
• Understanding of local events helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries and provide literature on trips, events, sports events, concerts, and plays.
• Discuss routes, schedules, rates, and types of accommodations with patrons to determine preferences and make reservations.
• Assist guests with directions to area attractions.
• Place amenity orders.
• Sell gift certificates.
• Make tee times for guests and dinner reservations for guests.
• Assist with kiosk check-in/out processes and guest relations.
• Maintain grooming standards and reflect a positive attitude.
• Follow environmental practices of the resort.
• Other duties as assigned.
