Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort is seeking a hospitality-focused housekeeping team member to ensure guest rooms, lobbies and corridors are clean, neat and sanitary. You will follow the Housekeeping Training Manual, communicate with departments, and respond promptly to guest needs with a courteous, energetic attitude.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, safety, and participation in the resort's green program. Some experience preferred; strong teamwork and good communication are required.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures in the Housekeeping Training Manual.
• Be familiar with complex and outlying areas.
• Maintain communication with housekeeping and other departments.
• Provide exceptional guest service through the Wow, Go & Please strategy.
• Maintain and secure equipment like pagers, radios and keys.
• Respond to calls via pager or in-house phone promptly.
• Report unusual situations to supervisor or security.
• Offer assistance to guests.
• Ensure carts and equipment are in good condition.
• Participate in the resort's green program.
• Foster teamwork, positive attitude and high energy.
• Complete all assigned tasks and follow policies.
• Follow grooming and dress standards and environmental practices.
