Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced retail supervisor to partner with the General Manager in leading store teams, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring compliant operations. You will train staff, manage inventory, and safeguard confidential information while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires experience in retail or customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a full-time on-site position in Florida.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service.
• Prior cash handling experience.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and successful MVR background check for delivery locations.
• Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to move throughout the facility and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager with leadership and supervision of store personnel
• Help achieve key performance metrics and ensure efficient daily store operations
• Assume key-holding supervisor duties for opening and closing procedures
• Supervise staff and retail processes
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations
• Review, communicate, and enforce company SOPs and communicate changes to employees
• Coach, train, and develop the team on service standards and accountability
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
• Prior cash handling experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
• Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and discretion
• Conversational English proficiency
• Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computer, scanner, and printer
• Ability to comprehend safety procedures and use telecommunication devices
• Valid driver’s license and successful MVR background check required for delivery locations only
• Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to function independently with flexibility and personal integrity
• Ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
• Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude
• Ability to move throughout the facility, including tight spaces
• Ability to push/pull, lift/carry, and position objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to ascend/descend stools, ladders, and steps
• Visual and auditory acuity, with or without job aids
