Job summary

Velvet Taco in Buckhead is hiring for a full-time role overseeing hourly team members and guest interactions. You will manage opening, mid, and closing duties, handle cash and POS tasks, and help maintain food safety and inventory.

You are expected to lead with urgency while ensuring a top-notch guest experience. The role requires 2 years of shift leadership experience in a restaurant, willingness to work nights and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader or Supervisor in a restaurant environment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage hourly team members and interact with guests professionally.
• Execute opening, mid, and closing duties per standard procedures.
• Handle guest concerns and guide to positive resolutions.
• Cash handling, POS setup, comps, voids, and deposits during shifts.
• Demonstrate leadership and motivate staff to follow procedures.
• De-escalate conflicts and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Support management with inventory and food safety checks.
• Oversee daily prep and adherence to recipes and flavor profiles.
