Job summary

Velvet Taco, Inc. is hiring a Shift Leader/Supervisor to manage hourly team members and ensure a friendly, professional guest experience. You will open, mid, and close shifts, handle guest concerns, cash handling, POS setup, and deposits, while modeling leadership and urgency.

Requires 2+ years in a restaurant shift-leader role, ability to work nights/weekends, and food safety certifications. Benefits include health coverage and other perks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a restaurant environment.
• Food Handler's Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages hourly team members and interacts with guests professionally.
• Executes opening, mid, and closing duties daily per procedures.
• Handle guest concerns and guide to positive resolutions.
• Cash-handling, setting up POS drawers, comps, voids, and deposits.
• Lead by example to motivate staff and ensure urgency and guest satisfaction.
• Support inventory and ensure food safety and cleanliness.
