Job summary

Velvet Taco is hiring in Charlotte, NC for a leadership role overseeing hourly team members and guest interactions. You will follow Velvet Taco’s opening, mid, and closing procedures and handle cash, POS setup, and deposits.

A strong focus on safety, guest experience, and team motivation is required. Ideal candidates have 2 years as a shift supervisor in a restaurant, are 21+, and can work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a restaurant.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Regularly exposed to heat and/or humid conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manages hourly team members and interacts with guests professionally.
• Executes opening, mid-day, and closing duties per procedures.
• Handles guest concerns and guides to positive resolutions.
• Cash-handling, setting up POS drawers, comps, voids, deposits.
• Leads by example to maintain safety and guest satisfaction.
• Supports inventory processes and line-checks for food safety.
