Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused team member to open/close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and backdoor access, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will greet customers, assist with products, and model service excellence to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

You will also support inventory control, price changes, and basic bookkeeping tasks while upholding store policies and compliance with laws on regulated products.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Register all related sales on the assigned cash register including adjustments and voids.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing signage.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance and upkeep.
