Job summary

Presbyterian Night Shelter in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Service Manager to oversee key daily operations including security, purchasing, IT support, donations sorting, payroll coordination, and fleet management. The role leads Operations staff and requires Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer credentials and a valid Texas driver license.

Qualifications

• Two years of operations and supervisory experience required.
• Must have strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and workplace technology.
• Experience in security, nonprofit, shelter, or residential operations preferred.
• Must be able to remain calm under high stress and communicate effectively with guests, staff and volunteers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations.
• Must have valid Texas driver license and proof of liability insurance.
• Must possess or obtain and maintain required Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer credentials.
