Job summary

Presbyterian Night Shelter in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Journey Home Program Manager for the Women’s Shelter to oversee case management, guest services, and shelter operations, including intake, bed assignments, and staff scheduling.

The role requires a bachelor’s in social services (master’s preferred), two years supervisory experience in residential settings, and experience with homelessness or related challenges; offers strong benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social service or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a residential environment.
• Experience with homeless or transient populations and/or related disorders.
• Ability to stay calm under high stress and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Women’s Shelter including case management and guest services coordination.
• Supervise Journey Home Guides and Advocates; schedule staff and fill shifts as needed.
• Ensure HMIS data entry, intake processes, and overnight sleeping arrangements run smoothly.
• Coordinate ancillary services (AA/NA, medical, mental health, public health).
• Support executive leadership and participate in program oversight and budget processes.
