Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive service training preferred.
• Previous experience as a service advisor or in a dealership role is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures is helpful.
• Ability to follow federal, state, and local regulations is expected.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Schedule service appointments and manage customer flow.
• Document service needs based on customer concerns.
• Explain maintenance and repairs clearly and in plain language.
• Prepare repair orders with estimates and obtain approvals.
• Provide timely updates on vehicle status and completion times.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction (CSI) standards.
• Answer phone inquiries about appointments and service.
• Deliver completed vehicles and review services performed.
• Ensure repair orders are properly documented and closed.
• Follow dealership, manufacturer and safety guidelines.
• Communicate concerns to the Service Manager.
• Refer sales opportunities to the Sales Department when appropriate.
