Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.

You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable Workday configurations and support ongoing payroll processes. You will lead testing for releases and regulatory changes, analyze complex payroll needs, and drive continuous improvements across related modules and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration.
• 5+ years supporting large, multi-state or multi-country payroll operations; Workday Payroll Certification preferred.
• Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS SME for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Time Tracking, IT to translate requirements into Workday configurations.
• Analyze complex payroll issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead Workday testing for releases, updates, regulatory changes, and integrations.
• Support payroll configuration across Workday modules and reporting enhancements.
