Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst specializing in Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada. You will serve as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll, ensuring configurations meet business requirements, compliance, and scalable operations.

Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT to translate complex payroll needs into effective Workday setups, lead testing for releases, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Five (5) years or more experience in HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience supporting complex payroll environments.
• Five (5) years or more experience supporting large, multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS subject matter expert responsible for design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Payroll in US/Canada.
• Partner with Payroll and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design scalable Workday solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex payroll issues and implement sustainable improvements.
• Lead Workday testing for releases, updates, and regulatory changes; validate functionality in test tenants.
• Support payroll configuration across Workday modules including Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, and reporting.
• Evaluate Workday functionality and industry best practices to drive enhancements and automation.
