Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, and support Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada operations.

You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, IT, and other teams to translate complex requirements into scalable Workday configurations and ensure compliance across a multi-region payroll environment. You will lead testing for semi-annual releases, implement enhancements, and optimize processes, reporting, and integrations, while maintaining accuracy and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Five years or more HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration in complex payroll environments.
• Five years or more experience supporting large, multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.
• Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS SME for U.S. and Canada payroll operations and optimize payroll configuration.
• Partner with Payroll and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design scalable Workday solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex payroll issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Lead Workday testing for releases, updates, and regulatory changes with defined test scenarios.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules and enhance reporting.
• Evaluate Workday functionality and implement automation to improve efficiency.
