Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, and support Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.

This role acts as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll, ensuring Workday solutions meet business needs and compliance in a complex environment. You will collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Time Tracking, IT, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Workday configurations, lead testing for semi-annual releases, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Five or more years HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration.
• Experience supporting multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.
• Workday Payroll Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS SME for US/Canada payroll operations, supporting complex configuration.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT to analyze requirements and design scalable Workday solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex payroll issues, evaluate impacts, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead Workday testing activities for releases, updates, and regulatory changes; review notes, configure in test tenants, and validate.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules (Benefits, Absence, reporting) and modify reports as needed.
• Evaluate Workday functionality and best practices to propose enhancements and automation opportunities.
