Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to lead Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada, partnering with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT, and other stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize payroll solutions.

This role requires deep Workday Payroll expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable configurations and continuous improvement. Travel is limited to none; the position is salaried.

Qualifications

• Five years or more experience with HRIS and Workday Payroll configuration.
• Experience supporting multi-state U.S. and Canada payroll operations.
• Certification in Workday Payroll preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate requirements into configuration.
• Lead testing for Workday releases, updates, and new functionality.
• Support payroll configuration across Benefits, Compensation, Absence, and reporting.
• Evaluate releases and best practices to recommend enhancements.
