Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to lead design, configuration, and optimization of Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada.

You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate complex payroll needs into scalable Workday solutions while ensuring compliance and accuracy. The role requires strong Workday Payroll expertise, attention to evolving regulatory standards, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across a multi-state, multi-country payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5+ years HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration.
• Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS SME for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT and other stakeholders.
• Analyze complex payroll needs and translate requirements into Workday configuration.
• Lead testing for releases, updates, integrations, and new functionality.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules (Benefits, Absence, Reporting).
• Evaluate functionality and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.
