Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to lead Workday Payroll configuration for US and Canada operations.

You will partner across Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Time Tracking, and IT to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions and drive continuous improvement. The role requires extensive Workday Payroll expertise, strong analytics, and the ability to manage complex multi-state and multi-country payroll environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Five years or more experience in HRIS with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration.
• Five years or more experience supporting large multi-state/multi-country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS expert for US and Canada payroll operations.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT and others to translate requirements into Workday config solutions.
• Analyze complex payroll needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement sustainable solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead Workday testing for releases, regulatory changes, integrations, and new functionality; validate in test tenants and ensure production readiness.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules (Benefits, Absence, reporting); modify reports as needed.
• Evaluate Workday functionality and best practices to drive enhancements and automation.
