Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Workday Adaptive Planning to lead administration, model building, and reporting across the Adaptive Planning platform. This role partners with Finance, HR, IT to translate complex financial and workforce needs into scalable, controllable models and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive hands-on experience in an administrator, developer, model builder, reporting, or systems analyst capacity, with 3+ years in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Experience developing complex Adaptive Planning reports, dashboards, and management reporting solutions.
• Experience with Adaptive OfficeConnect, including development and maintenance of management reporting packages.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator with day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and optimization responsibilities.
• Own and maintain Adaptive Planning structures including models, dimensions, accounts, versions, sheets, assumptions, formulas, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, workforce planning, and business needs.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and data governance while monitoring performance and data integrity.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and user guides; conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Design and build Adaptive Planning models and planning solutions that balance flexibility with controls and maintainability.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to define reporting requirements and translate them into Adaptive reporting solutions for budgets, forecasts, actuals, variances, and workforce metrics.
• Develop and maintain workforce planning models and reporting solutions within Adaptive Planning.
• Develop, monitor, reconcile, and troubleshoot integrations and data flows between Workday modules and Adaptive Planning.
• Collaborate with IT, HRIS, FINSYS, and other teams on integrations, data architecture, APIs, and technical issues.
