Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst – Workday Adaptive Planning to lead administration, development, and optimization of the Workday Adaptive Planning environment. You will build models, reports, and dashboards, partner with Finance and HR, and drive planning solutions across budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.

You will report to the Senior Director Financial Analytics and Insights, and own the Adaptive Planning platform,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands‑on experience in an administrator/developer/model builder/reporting role, including Workday Adaptive Planning.
• 3+ years utilizing Workday Adaptive Planning system.
• Strong experience developing complex Adaptive Planning reports, dashboards, and management reporting solutions.
• Experience with Adaptive OfficeConnect and management reporting packages.
• Deep understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator and SME, handling day‑to‑day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Own Adaptive Planning structures: models, dimensions, accounts, versions, sheets, rules, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations and reporting solutions for budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and data governance while monitoring integrations and data integrity.
• Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides to support adoption.
• Design Adaptive Planning models that balance flexibility with controls and long‑term maintainability.
• Partner with Finance and HR to define reporting requirements and translate them into effective Adaptive reporting.
