Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Workday Adaptive Planning to serve as a hands-on administrator, model builder, and reporting expert. You will own the Adaptive Planning environment and collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT to translate requirements into scalable models and dashboards.

You will partner with stakeholders to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning solutions, ensuring data integrity and ongoing optimization of the Adaptive

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an admin/developer/model builder/reporting/systems analyst role, with 3+ years on Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Experience building complex Adaptive Planning reports, dashboards, and management reporting solutions.
• Experience with Adaptive OfficeConnect for management reporting packages.
• Experience creating in/outbound integrations between Workday components.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator and SME for day-to-day admin, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Own Adaptive Planning structures: models, dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, assumptions, formulas, rules, attributes, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations and reporting solutions for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and workforce planning.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security while ensuring data governance and performance monitoring.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and training materials; conduct user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Design and build Adaptive models that balance flexibility with controls and maintainability for FP&A processes.
• Develop reporting solutions supporting budgets, forecasts, actuals, variances, trends, and workforce metrics.
• Partner with HR to develop workforce planning models and reporting in Adaptive Planning.
• Develop, monitor, reconcile, and troubleshoot data flows between Workday Financial Management, Workday HCM, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Collaborate with IT, FINSYS, HRIS and technical teams on integrations and data architecture.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders to evaluate needs and propose scalable, maintainable solutions.
