Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead to advance water resource planning initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate with market sector leaders to deliver projects that meet federal standards and client needs.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration across HDR’s Business Class and market sectors, with a focus on growth and high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Professional registration or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Foster a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching. Serve as a Quality Control lead, technical advisor, and technical lead for specific projects, aligning staff to meet delivery expectations and develop knowledge transfer.
• Lead or support Business Class sponsored standards and guidelines, tools, checklists, workflows, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participate in tactical planning including engaging HDR to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs; support recruiting key positions in partnership with others.
• Work with others within HDR including client facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on specific pursuits as a lead or team member.
