Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Senior Varicent Integration & Platform Engineer to partner with HR Technology and Total Rewards in delivering scalable compensation technology solutions. You will own Varicent architecture, integrations with Workday, Salesforce and GCP, and drive end-to-end implementation while collaborating with partners across the organization.

The role requires strong technical depth in Varicent, integration patterns, and cross-functional communication to translate business

Qualifications

5+ years Varicent SPM platform experience, including calculations, workflows and configuration.
5+ years integrating Varicent with enterprise systems.
5+ years configuring and debugging Varicent business processes and solutions.
5+ years of Varicent calculations, reports and configurations.
4+ years of Varicent integration architecture and design patterns.
4+ years in HR technology, cloud computing and mobile tech.
4+ years building Varicent dashboards and audit capabilities.
3+ years collaborating with business partners and stakeholders.
3+ years working in a team and managing multiple tasks.
3+ years strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technical partners on Varicent architecture and integration roadmap.
Create and maintain technical docs, architecture diagrams, integration specs, and ops procedures for Varicent.
Evaluate platform capabilities through research and testing.
Maintain timelines, plan deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Ensure delivered product meets business needs and objectives.
Support enhancements, projects, and defect resolution with scalable solutions.
Design end-to-end integrations between Varicent and systems like Workday, Salesforce, and GCP.
Configure Varicent apps: calculations, workflows, incentives, rules, compensation components.
Maintain transparency and set expectations with cross-functional partners.
Participate in vendor release process and regression testing with teams.
Stay updated on Varicent functionality and communicate changes impacting business.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions with timelines.
Perform fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, UAT, and documentation.
Maintain docs in tracking tools including architecture diagrams and specs.
Support testing with test plans, scenarios, cases, and results.
Follow best practices and engage with Varicent vendor community for enhancements.
Integrate data to strengthen Varicent strategy and share insights.
Design and maintain complex Varicent reports, dashboards, analytics, and audits.
Monitor platform health and perform root-cause analysis for incidents.
Establish platform governance: security, access controls, compliance.
Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence.
