Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Varicent Integration & Platform Engineer to join the Human Resources Technology team. You will support Compensation operations by delivering scalable solutions and managing Varicent integrations across Workday, Salesforce, and Google Cloud.

The ideal candidate combines deep platform expertise with collaboration across HR Technology, COEs, and HR Shared Services to ensure successful design and implementation, with a focus on colleague satisfaction and impact across

Qualifications

5+ years Varicent SPM platform experience, including calculations, workflows and configuration.
5+ years configuring and building integrations between Varicent and enterprise systems.
5+ years configuring and debugging Business Processes and Varicent solutions.
5+ years experience with calculations, complex reports, and Varicent configurations.
4+ years of Varicent integration architecture and design patterns.
4+ years in HR technology with cloud/mobile technologies.
4+ years maintaining Varicent reports, dashboards and analytics for reporting.
3+ years delivering timely defect resolution and collaborating with SaaS vendors.
3+ years partnering with business to optimize processes.
3+ years team collaboration and effective written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Support Varicent technical architecture and integration roadmap with stakeholders.
Create and maintain architecture diagrams, integration specs, and docs.
Evaluate platform capabilities through research and testing.
Develop plans with timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Ensure delivered product meets business objectives and needs.
Support enhancements, requests, and defect resolution with scalable solutions.
Design end-to-end integrations between Varicent and Workday, Salesforce, and Google Cloud Platform.
Configure Varicent apps, calculations, workflows, and compensation components; document steps.
Lead regression testing with cross-functional teams and vendor releases.
Maintain up-to-date Varicent functionality awareness with vendor communications.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and timelines.
Perform fit-gap analysis, functional design, UAT, and documentation upkeep.
Maintain architecture diagrams and integration specs in tracking tools.
Support user acceptance testing with test plans and scenarios.
Uphold best practices, engage with vendor community, and promote innovation.
Integrate data insights to strengthen Varicent platform strategy and reporting.
Build Varicent reports, dashboards, analytics, and audit capabilities.
Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
Establish platform governance including security and access controls.
