Job summary

Cloudera seeks a Business Value Manager to translate data and AI capabilities into quantified economic outcomes. You will work with sales, product, and strategy to develop value-based deal strategies, construct CFO-grade business cases, and shape executive engagements across a national territory.

You will lead value frameworks, ROI analyses, TCO models, and scenario planning, partnering with cross-functional teams to embed value narratives into multi-year deals, driving ARR growth and platform

Qualifications

• 5+ years in value engineering, strategy consulting, or equivalent customer-facing roles.
• Experience leading customer engagements and cross-functional teams.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and financial acumen.
• Ability to distill complex technical and financial concepts into clear insights.
• Experience with TCO, ROI analyses and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the value architect for strategic deals within a defined sales territory.
• Take ownership of value-focused customer engagements and stakeholder alignment.
• Drive ARR growth by embedding value narratives into deal strategy and AI operating models.
• Engage C-suite stakeholders to shape enterprise AI and data strategies.
• Build and present CFO-grade business cases (TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR).
• Support multi-year deal cycles with commercial structuring and scenario modeling.
