Cloudera is seeking a Business Value Manager in the Corp. Strategy area to translate data and AI capabilities into quantified business outcomes.

You will partner with account teams and executives to influence deals, shape value-led strategies, and drive ARR growth through CFO-grade business cases. In this individual contributor role, you will work across Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Product to map current-state environments to AI-native future states, leveraging AI tools to scale analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years in value engineering, strategy consulting, or equivalent customer-facing roles
• Experience driving customer engagements across large or dynamic organizations
• Strong ability to reason structurally with deep quantitative analysis
• Excellent communication to distill complex concepts into insights
• Hands-on deal and sales experience with enterprise deals
• Advanced financial modeling (DCF, NPV, IRR) linking tech decisions to financials
• Influence on enterprise deal cycles and commercial outcomes
• Solid understanding of data platforms, distributed systems, AI/ML workloads
• Quantitative reasoning about evolving AI cost drivers
• Experience using AI tools to support analysis and content generation
• Executive presence engaging CIO/CFO/CDO and senior stakeholders
• High ownership mindset in ambiguous, high-growth environments

Responsibilities

• Serve as the business value architect for strategic deals within a defined sales territory.
• Own value-focused customer engagements with direct stakeholder mapping and alignment.
• Drive value narratives linking AI architectures to revenue uplift and cost optimization.
• Engage C-suite stakeholders to shape enterprise AI and data strategies.
• Build CFO-grade business cases (TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR).
• Lead value discovery to map current to future AI-native architectures.
• Support multi-year deal cycles with commercial structuring and scenario modeling.
• Align solution design with commercial objectives with Sales and Product.
• Scale analysis using AI tools to create repeatable value assets.
