Job summary

Baker Tilly US, a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm, seeks a Valuation Manager to lead and manage valuation consulting engagements across financial reporting contexts. The role focuses on delivering high-quality analyses and developing client relationships in a dynamic environment.

You will develop team members, contribute to business development, and help shape the growth and strategic direction of the Valuation practice while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of valuation or related financial advisory experience.
• Strong understanding of fair value measurement and U.S. GAAP (ASC 820).
• Experience with purchase price allocations and impairment testing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple valuation engagements from planning through completion.
• Perform financial statement analyses, valuation analyses, and preparation of reports.
• Conduct management interviews and site visits to understand client businesses.
• Apply valuation methodologies and benchmarks to identify trends and risks.
• Define engagement scope, manage resources and timelines, and ensure client commitments.
• Mentor and coach team members, providing feedback and development support.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and thought leadership.
