Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Valuation Manager to lead and manage valuation engagements, oversee financial analyses, and deliver high-quality advisory services. You will develop team members, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the practice.

Responsibilities include managing multiple engagements, performing complex valuations, coaching staff, and supporting business development activities to expand client base and market penetration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of valuation or related financial advisory experience.
• Strong understanding of fair value measurement principles and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with purchase price allocations and other financial reporting valuations.
• Knowledge of income, market, and cost valuation approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple valuation engagements from planning through completion.
• Perform and oversee financial statement analyses and valuation reporting.
• Conduct management interviews and site visits to understand client businesses.
• Apply valuation methodologies and benchmarks to identify trends and risks.
• Define engagement scope, manage resources and timelines, and ensure quality.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm requirements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client experience.
• Support business development, proposals, and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate across offices and service lines to grow capabilities.
