Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity and large capital values. You will guide program strategy, coordinate diverse teams, and advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects to ensure successful delivery.

As part of HDR’s Transportation Leadership, you’ll direct planning, scheduling, risk management, and governance across programs such as major highway and transit initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or closely related field.
• DBIA certification or equivalent professional credentials.
• Ten+ years program management experience with large capital projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB/CMAR/DBFOM) and PMO environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial and community aspects.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across disciplines.
• Develop plans, processes and tools to drive efficiency and accountability.
• Monitor performance, governance, and financial metrics for the program.
