Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead large, multdisciplinary infrastructure programs within HDR’s Transportation Leadership group. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial and community facets, plan and direct program execution, and mentor teams across multiple locations.

This senior role emphasizes delivering complex programs such as major transportation projects, directing resources, governance, and performance to meet earnings and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• Program management experience including at least ten years, with four years as a Senior Program Manager, and leading three or more programs with capital value >= $500 million.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing teams across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with a high degree of technical complexity and non-technical intricacies.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community facets of infrastructure programs; apply lessons learned to address client needs.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across disciplines such as planning, design, construction, cost control, risk, and governance.
• Identify risks and issues, provide strategic advice, and deploy resources to address challenges and opportunities.
• Promote regular communication, secure necessary resources, and ensure contract compliance across large program teams.
