Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead major multidisciplinary infrastructure programs within HDR’s Transportation group. You will guide delivery on complex projects, advise clients on technical, regulatory, and financial matters, and coordinate teams across multiple locations to ensure successful outcomes.

You will drive governance, risk management, and scheduling while maintaining a strong focus on quality and client value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Experience advising clients on technical, regulatory and financial aspects of programs.
• Proven ability to lead programs valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial and community facets for program success.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across disciplines.
• Identify issues, mitigate risks, and provide strategic advice and leadership.
• Develop plans and tools to drive efficiency, accountability, and transparency.
• Direct services by multiple large program teams or lead a mega-project.
• Promote alignment through regular, effective communications.
• Secure resources to deliver services with contract compliance.
• Monitor performance and maintain QA/QC to meet client expectations.
• Manage program financials to meet earnings targets and control losses.
• Support growth through client relationships and pursuit of new opportunities.
