Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead large, complex transportation infrastructure programs. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects, coordinating multiple disciplines to deliver on ambitious goals.

Role requires 10+ years of program management, with at least 4 years in a senior PM position, and familiarity with DB, PDB, CMAR and EPC delivery methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or closely related field.
• Professional certifications: PE/PMP PgMP PgMP, AICP, or CCM recognized by licensing boards.
• Minimum 10 years program management experience, with at least 4 years as a Senior Program Manager.
• Experience delivering three or more programs each with a capital value of $500M or more.
• Familiar with alternative delivery methods: DB, PDB, CMAR, and EPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity and non-technical challenges.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects to drive program success.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across many disciplines.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; provide strategic guidance to clients.
