Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure programs across transportation projects, including bridges, rail, and port facilities. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects while coordinating multidisciplinary teams for successful delivery.

This role requires extensive program management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• PE/PMP/PgMP/AICP/CCM certification as applicable.
• Ten years of program management experience, four in a senior role, on multiple large programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects of programs.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across disciplines.
• Identify risks and provide strategic problem solving and guidance.
• Develop and implement program management plans and startup/work plans.
• Direct services by large program teams or on mega-projects.
• Promote team alignment through regular communications.
• Secure resources to deliver services per contract scope.
• Monitor QA/QC to meet client expectations.
• Support growth of HDR’s program management services and mentorship.
