Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead and design high‑voltage transmission projects, coordinating across disciplines, clients, and stakeholders. The role emphasizes technical excellence, scheduling, and delivery within a growing Power Delivery team.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in transmission design/management, PE licensure, and strong skills in PLS-CADD, QA/QC, and client communication. A flexible work model is offered across Central region offices and remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 5–7 years’ experience in transmission project design/management.
• PE licensure required.
• Strong knowledge of transmission design standards.
• Experience with PLS-CADD and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and plans.
• Coordinate with clients and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and safety standards.
• Mentor staff and support business development.
