Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead high-voltage transmission projects and guide staff on complex designs. The role emphasizes technical excellence, cross-functional coordination, and project delivery.

You will work remotely or from offices across the South-Central region, with travel to client sites as needed. Applicants should have 10+ years in electrical transmission, a PE license, and strong PLS-CADD proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post-education experience in electrical transmission engineering.
• PE license; multi-state preferred.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD.
• Experience leading projects up to 765 kV and coordinating teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage transmission projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; lead or support client meetings.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and ensure QA/QC adherence.
• Mentor staff and support business development and proposals.
