Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery team in a flexible model with remote or office work across the Central region. You will deliver high‑voltage overhead projects, lead multi‑disciplinary teams, and coordinate with clients to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

The role requires 5–7 years in transmission design, PE licensure, and strong PLN‑CADD and communication skills to drive project success and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5–7 years in transmission design/leadership.
• PE licensure required.
• Knowledge of NESC, RUS, GO-95.
• Strong English communication and PLS-CADD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop project layouts and schedules with teams.
• Coordinate with clients and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Maintain QA/QC and safety standards on projects.
• Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor staff and contribute to business planning.
